The Speaking test has three parts and takes about 11–14 minutes. Part 1 explores familiar topics. Part 2 provides one minute of preparation followed by a talk of up to two minutes. Part 3 develops a broader discussion related to the Part 2 topic.
Use your own experiences and ideas. Our timer and practice feedback do not predict an official band score. Daily cue-card challenges are abbreviated exercises; use a Part 2 detail page for full-format timing.
