About Speakflew

Speakflew exists to solve one problem: “I understand English, but I don't get enough opportunities to speak.” It is a modern, free personal speaking practice studio that anyone can open and use immediately — no signup, no login, no account.

How it works

Pick a prompt, speak or type your response, then read your Speaking Snapshot: what you did well, anything worth rephrasing, and one thing to work on. Try the prompt again when you want to add a detail or say it differently.

What we don't do

• We don't ask you to create an account. Your practice history stays in your browser on this device.
• We don't claim to be an official language test. Snapshots do not grade ability or estimate your English level.
• We don't fake pronunciation precision. In-browser speech recognition can't measure phonemes, so we report transcript similarity, not “pronunciation accuracy”.
• Speakflew does not send microphone audio to its own servers. Your browser’s speech provider may process audio remotely.

Honest about the browser

Speech recognition depends on your browser, its provider, network access and microphone permission. Use the typing path when speech is unavailable. Typed and recognised responses are labelled in your snapshot.

What's next

The speaking experience comes first. Reading, writing and listening modules may follow later, but only once speaking practice is genuinely excellent.
